About drawing

Since around 2010, I have been experimenting with drawing as an independent work of art. The process of drawing while accepting the way the line changes depending on the method or the way I hold the tool in my hand is a bit of a thrill, and I feel as if the type of paper I use and the different drawing materials follow what I want. How many lines can I draw from one artist? The more I try to avoid drawing artificially, the more my hand tries to arrive at a shape that I remember. That's fine, but if I just run my pencil or pen through the same grooves I've been through so many times, only the mainstream inside me will be able to get the upper hand. I would like to use line drawing as a clue to uncover what lies dormant within me. I need to start by giving form to what I cannot see. The things I excavate will be scattered. As they accumulate, the dots may start to look like surfaces.
